AI Legal Assistant for Equitable Access to Justice

This project deploys an AI-powered legal chatbot in Benin and Madagascar to democratize access to legal information. With only 13% of Africans having recent court contact and 47% struggling to understand procedures, the chatbot aims to improve legal literacy while implementing rigorous safety measures to mitigate AI hallucinations in legal contexts.
